Today we will talk about Top 10 funny things in video games
Game developers are known for adding funny elements to there games. Whether in the form of jokes, irony, or just completely pranking the player. This is top tens and today we are going to be looking at the funniest things in video game history.
Number 10- dancing dwarfs deep rock galactic
Now, what better beer or music? Both, of course. If you head over to the abyss bar you can buy drinks of potency that varies. It makes the player's vision change, kinda like in real life. If you go to the opposite side of the bar, you will find a jukebox. Turn it on and your dwarf will do all sorts of ridiculous dance moves and show your pride as a drunken dwarf.
Number 9- Courtney Gears “Death To Squishies” Ratchet and Clank: up your arsenal
The Ratchet and Clank Series had multiple funny moments throughout the series but the Brittany spears or courtney gears music videos was something that you weren’t quite expecting. The satirical humor of this outrageous scene was something relatable in the 2000s when music was taken over by this style of pop/mixed with electric music which was and still is widely disliked by fans of rock and roll. You eventually get to fight courtney gears and prove you weren’t soft and squishy.
Number 8- The Giant ice’d creams scene pit people
Pit People isn’t going to be the only game that makes this list that behemoth studios made. But it has one of the funniest scenes in video game history. The giant bear says to a baby that he picks up. Here have some teeny tiny iced creams, I know you love them. As the little boy hits it away. The monster is enraged by the little boy that doesnt eat ice cream. The cut scenes in this whole game is a treat, and that was what I believe the developers were hinting at.
Number 7- Glitches
Video game developers don’t see the light in mistakes, but gamers sure do. Exploits or glitches are little bugs found in the game's code, which you can do pretty hilarious things with. Like in skyrim, you can literally run so fast across the map that speed runners have found ways to set new speedrun world records with. In skyrim, if you get hit by a giant. You will be sent flying to the moon. These bugs people tend to really enjoy as it adds some humor to usually serious games.
Number 6- Superman (N64) flying through rings
The reason superman flying through rings made this list because of how out right scammed you felt after playing superman on the nintendo 64. One Redditor wrote ,”I remember popping in superman into my nintendo and being so excited for the new superman experience, I played it for awhile and just started laughing, like when was I supposed to get to a boss battle or experience something different, nope, just flying.
Number 5- Michael Jackson’s Moonwalker Yes, This Was A Game
Alright, number five. A close number one. Imagine An entire game where you can be the king of pop through an entire game. Well, Moonwalker accomplished just that. This was the most funny and bizarre game arguably of all time. Just imagine you finish a level, and suddenly micheal jackson yells, HEE HEE. Or some of his other vocalizations he signaturized. It was a very funny game. Search it on youtube after this video you will laugh.
Number 4- Anyone Getting mad at video games
What is more entertaining, watching someone play games for 20 minutes, or watching someone throw a rage fit and yell over voice chat. It is so funny to watch or hear people getting angry at video games. Trolling in minecraft is very popular on youtube, for our entertainment there are people who literally burn other peoples houses down or trap them in a pit of sand. Not to mention trolling people in serious Gta roleplay servers, by either shooting them or blowing up car meets, its cruel, its unexpected, and its funny.
Number 3- Skyrim Mods
This makes our list due to the extremely hilarious mods, modders come up with. Seeing macho man randy savage in Skyrim is quite a stretch, but we enjoy it none the less. Or another mod where Thomas the train replaces all the dragons in the game. Modding needs to be protected as it is sacred to the hearts of gamers worldwide.
Number 2- Goat Simulator
Can everyone agree that this game should be recognized as one of the funniest things in video games? Someone took the time to create a game, you play as a goat. You can head butt and lick people. Or maybe even lick their butts? Okay, maybe that was a little far. But the things you can do in the goat simulator are outrageous. There are even Dlcs that add more wacky things to the franchise. Everyone deserves a Goat laugh.
Number 1- Poopy Deer Castle Crashers
My buddies and I have played castle crashers for hours on end, beating the game several times. Nothing was more iconic to us than poopy deer. When you get through the forest level the next level is poopy deer. It's where you ride deer that have poop coming out of them dodging gates untill you escape the level and fall down into the river below. The first time I saw this, it caused the earth to shake with my and my buddy's laughter.
