Simon video 13 : Lord, deliver me from fear | Prayer for Deliverance from Fear

If fear has been weighing heavy on your heart, take a deep breath and let God’s presence surround you. In this prayer, we call upon the Lord to bring deliverance, courage, and strength—reminding us that His perfect love casts out all fear. Let us pray together with faith.

Heavenly Father, I come before You tonight, weary from the burden of fear that has gripped my heart for too long. In the quiet of this moment, I open my soul to You, asking not only for peace but for complete deliverance. Fear has wrapped itself around my thoughts, my decisions, and my future. It has whispered lies to my mind and dimmed the light of joy in my spirit. But now, Lord, I lay every fear at Your feet and ask You to take them away, one by one, as gently as a father lifts burdens from the shoulders of a child.

You are not the author of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. You have not given me a spirit of anxiety, yet still, I find myself trembling at the unknown. I fear what I cannot control. I fear what tomorrow may bring. I fear losing what I hold dear. But Father, tonight, I release these fears to You. I surrender every anxious thought, every uncertain path, and every scenario that keeps me awake at night. Wrap me in the truth of Your Word, and let Your promises echo louder than my fears.

Lord, deliver me from the fear of failure. So often, I hesitate to step forward because I fear I will fall. I question my own worth, my abilities, and whether I have what it takes. But I remember that You chose the weak to show Your strength and the ordinary to demonstrate Your extraordinary grace. If You are with me, who can stand against me? You are my strength, my confidence, my guide. Remind me that failure is never the end, but often the beginning of Your greater purpose.

Deliver me from the fear of rejection. Help me not to seek my identity in the approval of others, but in the truth of who I am in You. I am Your beloved, created in Your image, deeply known and fully accepted. You see every flaw and still call me worthy. When people turn away or misunderstand me, let me remember that Your love remains unshaken. Fill my heart with the assurance that I am never alone or unloved, because I belong to You.

Lord, deliver me from the fear of lack. There are days when I worry about having enough—enough money, enough strength, enough time. But You are the God of more than enough. You are my provider and my sustainer. You own the cattle on a thousand hills, and nothing is beyond Your reach. Teach me to trust in Your provision, not in what I see, but in the faithfulness of what I’ve already experienced. Remind me that You have never failed me before, and You won’t start now.

Deliver me from the fear of sickness and loss. Life is fragile, and some days, fear overwhelms me when I think of losing those I love or falling ill myself. But Lord, You are the giver and keeper of life. You hold every heartbeat and know the number of my days. Help me not to live under the shadow of what might happen, but in the light of Your eternal presence. Let me rest in the comfort that nothing can touch me without first passing through Your loving hands.

God, deliver me from the fear of the future. I often try to plan and predict, to control and prepare, but the truth is—only You know what lies ahead. Help me release the illusion of control and walk in the freedom of trust. Let me wake up each morning with faith, not fear. Let me walk through each day with courage, not worry. Fill my spirit with hope, knowing that whatever the future holds, You are already there, waiting for me with open arms.

Tonight, I ask for Your peace to flood every corner of my heart where fear has taken root. Replace anxiety with assurance. Replace dread with confidence. Replace trembling with trust. Let Your perfect love drive out every ounce of fear, for Your Word tells me that where love is complete, fear cannot remain. Lord, I long to rest in that love—fully, deeply, and without reservation.

Speak to me in the stillness, Lord. Remind me of who You are. You are my refuge and strength, my ever-present help in time of trouble. You are the One who calms storms, who walks on water, and who calls the fearful heart to step out in faith. Remind me that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in me and that I am never alone in my struggles.

Teach me to see fear not as a wall that stops me, but as a signal to turn to You. In moments of panic, remind me to pray. In moments of doubt, remind me to breathe in Your promises. In moments of darkness, remind me that the light of Christ is still shining. Let every fear become an invitation to grow deeper in faith and draw nearer to You.

Father, fill me with a supernatural peace that surpasses all understanding. Let this peace quiet the chaos in my mind and still the racing of my heart. Let me fall asleep tonight in complete trust, knowing that You are watching over me and those I love. Guard my thoughts as I rest, and awaken me tomorrow with renewed strength and unwavering hope.

In You, Lord, I find safety. In You, I find healing. In You, I find rest from the torment of fear. Thank You for being the anchor when my heart feels adrift, the light when my mind is clouded, and the voice of truth when fear speaks too loudly.

I end this prayer with faith, not fear. I choose to trust instead of tremble. I choose to hope instead of worry. I choose to stand in Your promises instead of sinking into what-ifs. Thank You, Lord, for hearing my cry and for lifting me out of fear into the freedom of Your perfect love. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

As you finish this prayer, know that you are not alone—God is with you, and fear has no power over His promises. If this prayer brought you comfort, please like, share, and subscribe for more prayers and encouragement. Stay strong, stay faithful, and rest in His peace.
